Every ESO concert is presented in support of a local charity. The charity is chosen annually from a list suggested by the players. You will find the name of the charity displayed on all ESO posters and programmes and on this website.
We are pleased to be working with the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity for the 2026/27 season.
Helen Rollason Cancer Charity is the home of cancer support in Essex. We provide free, compassionate care and support to adults living with cancer, as well as their families, friends and carers, at every stage of their journey. From the moment of diagnosis, throughout treatment and into recovery, our centres offer a safe, welcoming and understanding environment where people can access complementary therapies, counselling, support groups, mindfulness, yoga and much more.
Our Mid Essex Support Centre in Hatfield Peverel, our West Essex Support Centre in Harlow, and our centres at Spire Hartswood Hospital in Brentwood and Spire Wellesley Hospital in Southend all provide welcoming and relaxing spaces where people affected by cancer can talk through concerns, access support, or simply enjoy a friendly chat with others who understand what they are going through.
Our treatments and services are non-invasive and designed to help reduce stress, improve wellbeing and provide comfort during what can be a challenging time. We believe nobody should face cancer alone, which is why our support is available not only to those living with cancer but also to the loved ones who support them.
